Since January 2001, Baan Nor Giank is committed to taking only HIV+ babies / children. All children after testing HIV+, are placed on a "Combination" therapy regime. Our aim and mission of Nor Giank (New Life Home) , is to give each child all the tender loving care possible, to do this with compassion and understanding, and enhance the quality of life of all the babies and children coming to the home, for however long or short their stay may be. The staff are trained to show love, patience, compassion and sensitivity for all the children in our care. Baan Nor Giank Baby Home is presently staffed on a full time basis seven days per week twenty-four hours per day, by
8 full time nannies and 2 maids operating a shift system with 1 home manageress and Linda herself, everyone in general has one day off per week. More staff will be taken on and trained in due course as the need increases. Baan Nor Giank Baby Home is currently capable of providing full care for up to a maximum of fifteen (15) babies/children, in the present premises. The aim is to construct a purpose built home for the babies/children. The size of the project will depend on the support we receive. Unfortunately the need is definitely there and our target is to complete construction and beat our target within one years. Baan Nor Giank has now achieved "Foundation" Status. So, now as well as being known as Bangkok Baby Home and Baan Nor Giank, we are also known as the Kevorkian Foundation.
